I just finished up importing some posts from the old xanga site Davonne setup for me a long time ago.  I just imported the good ones manually so take a look and see what you find.

While looking for a good way to import posts I found this site.  Actually linked to by the wordpress.com site.  Interestingly enough he graduated from Harding, I think the same year as my sister, Anna, started.  His wife also has the same birthday as my wife, Davonne.

On Tuesday night we were at C.J. Maggie’s and when I made a trip to the bathroom I got a pretty good laugh.  While in the stall I hear a little boy out side knock on the door and yell “Come Out!!!”.  I just smile and I hear his dad tell him to wait his turn.  But he continues “Come Out!!! I have to GO!!!” fortunately I was done and as I walked out laughing I said “Here, it’s all yours!”  His dad was laughing pretty hard as he managed a “thanks!” and followed his sprinting son into the stall.

Moral of the story.  Little kids and bathrooms are hilarious!!

Tonight I was showing Lily the fhqwhgads video from homestarrunner.com and she loved it so I took a quick video to show Davonne and decided to post it on here! Enjoy!

A large group of people from church went to the Creation Museum on the 17th of the month. I was pretty impressed and while most of what was presented there I’d already read or heard I thought it was a great trip. I’m planning on going again in the future once they grow it a little more.

Of course the first thing you need once you get there are some restrooms which unfortunately are well past the admission lines and around a few corners. I’m not sure why it was done that way. Nearly every theme park/museum I’ve been to has them right a the front door because most likely you just got out of the car after driving several hours.

Anyways I get back to the restroom, sit down in a stall, and a couple minutes later I hear a couple people come in. I hear a little boy say, “What’s that smell!!”. I’m getting a little embarrassed when the dad say’s, “Yeah, I love that smell! It smell like cookies or ice cream.” LOL, I could bearly stop from laughing. I was really beginning to worry what kinda of cookies they’ve been eating when he says, “Thats vanilla, it makes the bathrooms smell fresh.”

So you should take a trip to the Creation Museum and enjoy the Fresh vanilla bathrooms. And make sure to catch men in white. It was my favorite part of the whole museum.

I had a great father’s day!! Me and lily worked on the Honda supermoto project for a couple hours. At first she was scared of it! But after sitting on it with me and pretending to ride it she was ready to get to work!! (this tactic works for for me as well!) That night we removed the motor, all the plastic, and cleaned it up some. We removed the air box, chain guards, and cleaned it some more another night.

She’s really a great little helper. She loves to organize parts and get me tools. She can differentiate between Phillips and flat head, when I need a socket she just brings me all of them one by one ;). I think thats pretty good for a two year old!

Just when we were finishing up Davonne came down to the garage and snapped a few pictures. Thanks!!!
fatherday

Figured I might as well do a quick update since I got on xanga to check out davonne’s post about my birthday party. Which by the way was the best birthday ever!!! Davonne made me dinner and surprised me with a movie room setup I’ve been planning on doing for a long time. She had the furniture all aranged with food supplied and I setup the tech stuff. Lcd projector, laptop with vongo, and some 2.1 speakers. All in all a very cool movie room. She even decorated with some old movie posters from starwars and batman.

On the turbo, since the last post I’ve put in 440cc injectors and and using an smt-6 to control the fuel, but the vortech piece of crap is gone. So after a long battle with tuning it’s running rather well and with little fuel mileage decline(about 2-3 mpg). I’m running 8-9 psi of boost and love it! Have to be extra careful in rain now though. When boost kicks in 2nd gear it’ll spin the tires and get wheel hop. Pretty impressive for a car that started out with 105 whp.

I love davonne and lily!! they are the greatest!!

I’m soo excited. I just found out today that I’m getting my jet-hot coating for free!!!!

http://www.jet-hot.com/pages/freecoatings2.html

I sent in my turbo manifold and down pipe so I’m getting about 150 bucks worth of jethot 2000 for free.

Davonne and lily are great too. Lily tried really hard to start crawling today. She is getting SO BIG!! She looks nothing like a baby anymore. Now she just looks like a little kid. It’s soo cute. We love her soo much. I love you Davonne!!!!

Today, is a good day!!!  Davonne surprised me with a large amount of surprise.

My birthday is tomorrow and I had told her I wanted to get my cartinted for my birthday.  Well she was very sneaky and told me theappointment was for friday.  Apparently I was underestimating thesneakiness because she borrowed my car today while I was in school togo grocery shopping.  When she came back to pick me up, somethingwas different.  Then I realized what it was.  The windowswere tinted all around and it was washed! It looks great!

I’ve got one great wife!! 🙂
